When the newest version of this sports car made its debut at the Detroit auto show in 2019, we gathered up all of the most important 2020 Toyota Supra specs to share with our neighbors near North Miami.

When designing the new Supra, the engineers at Toyota built upon the innovative 2014 FT-1 concept. This year, they’ve isolated what made it exceptional, removed any unnecessary elements, and revamped its components in a single-minded pursuit of performance. The new Supra was first previewed in 2019, and this high-powered model now goes even further to generate peak performance.

2020 Toyota Supra Performance

The new Toyota Supra will come equipped with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger. It’s engine specs are certainly impressive: with 335 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque, you’ll be able to tear up any piece of pavement that crosses your path! With the ability to accelerate from 0-60 in just 4.1 seconds, it’s the fastest production vehicle to wear the Toyota badge. In fact, it offers so much power, that its top track speed will be electronically limited to 155 mph.

Other performance features include an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, an active differential, and two-setting adaptive variable suspension. Although North Miami Beach and North Miami drivers will be able to choose between two available grades and a special Launch edition, these components are standard across all models. Toyota honors its racing heritage by opting to build every 2020 Toyota Supra with rear-wheel drive and a 50:50 front:rear weight distribution. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are standard, and the rear set has been manufactured wider than the front to improve traction.
